Collection FW2011-2012 Ready-to-Wear

In the season of A/W2011, Belleninon inherited stylistic elements from American Industrial Design during the 20's and 30's Streamlining movement. The fluidity of submarine engine in the modern military, combining with a hint of iconic Belleninon new vintage style. In order to exaggerate this extreme contrast and emphasize on the geometry of architectural lines, Ling and DaWei choose a combination of colors including concrete grey felt coat with crème gazar dress, washed out sand and pink tone mousseline evening dress; illustrating a simplistic, strong effect of contemporary working classics.

Another highlight of this season is the ergonomics design, inspired by Henry Dreyfuss's great work - The Measure of Man; Illustrating simplified anthropometric chart of human body relating to design. Ling and Dawei have inosculated this feature into their cocktail dress design using classic corset design; Baleine wrapped around fabric in the design of coat. These elements allow them to perfectly illustrate their playful design and a flexible change between the fluidity of marine and the coldness of modern concrete based architecture.
